"Shoe shoe!!!"
I was so amused by Claire's crying this morning.
She was not totally awake when I carried her to put on her shoes. She totally wake up when I was trying to put on the shoe on her left foot. The moment she saw that she was not wearing her white strawberry shoes, she kicked her left foot in protest (REFUSED to wear the new pair) and pointed to her strawberry shoes and exclaimed,"SHOE SHOE SHOE SHOE!!!"
I had such a difficult time putting on the shoe for her that I had no choice but to ask PK to help me. PK put it on for her and carried her while i opened the door to prepare to go out with her. She immediately screamed for me, "Mama, mama" and started crying! She was so afraid that I go without her. Her two hands extended to me immediately when she saw me going to carry her!
While we were walking to the MRT station, I explained to her why she has to wear this new pair of shoes instead of her old strawberry shoes as she had outgrew the old pair and will fall down. When I asked her whether is her new pair of shoes pretty, she didn't respond. I guess she loved her strawberry shoes to bits. I guess Ms Piggy inherited this trait from me, "长情"

Things i knew i missed
I m in the office, there is noone around in the fish tank except for me. I had switched on the radio and I realised what i had missed for these 21 mths plus after the birth of Claire.
I missed listening to the radio at home or outside. I missed reading my books. I missed watching movies with PK. I missed doing the things I love especially on taking naps. Now everything seems to be centred on FAMILY, WORK, FAMILY & WORK in that order.
The personal time i had for myself? Facial = Sleeping time and Pedicures = Spaced out time. I guess its these little things that had became a luxury to me that I MISSED BIG TIME! These little things that I missed also contributed to my frustrations which I had to slowly accept for choosing to have Claire. Claire is the best thing that happens to me but I had not really accepted the things that I had to give up for her.
Guess time will be the best solution to all and I hope that the balance between ME, FAMILY & WORK will be striked to the best eventually.

Murderous!
If eyes can kill, my SS will be dead by now.
This morning, a query came from the Australia MD. SS's response, "Joxxxxxxe, remember to CC me in your reply to Mr. Bradley."
I felt so MURDEROUS!

I Scored!
Yesterday, I was lamenting about SS making me download all those reports from the co system.
Today, my CFO came and told me to drop it and INSTRUCTED me to use the existing info that we had!
SS refused to believe his words (she was in a discussion when CFO told me that) and unhappy that he din tell her directly. So, her words to me was pretty nasty and her instructions, LOUD & CLEAR, "DID YOU READ THE EMAIL THAT HE SENT TO US? YOU BETTER GO & CHECK WITH HIM AGAIN!"
I was quite pissed off by her tone and I went for my training session with my equipment colleague first before drafting any email to my CFO.
So after my training session with my colleague & emailed my CFO, she came back to me and said, "Oh, i had discussed with boss already. He said ok to go ahead with the payer and blah blah blah..."
Anyway, i was like WTF.... Just because he din tell her directly and she was pissed off with me. It was not my fault if he chose to ask me directly and she was on the phone while he asked me. My CFO came looking for her first and she was on the phone. That's y he came & looked for me!
What a Bxxxh!

Din know that my mobile phone can be a vibrator...
I was over at the Sg office doing the bloody scanning of documents. This task used to be done by the driver of the company and now been entrusted to yours truly.
So, while i was over at the other side for at least half an hour, my trusty mobile phone RUNG! As usual, the ring tone is enough to wake ppl from the dead. Usually, i put it to silent mode but i forgotten to do it after lunch.
When i was back at my desk, this is the conversation between SS and me:
SS: Can you switch your phone to VIBRATOR mode?
Me: Orh (very small sound)
SS: Your phone ringtone very loud, gave people a shock of their life.
Me: Hmm, VIBRATOR mode
SS: Your phone sure have rite!!!
I never responded to her and I was trying very hard to suppress my laughter. So much for saying me crude in using my language but but, POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK!!!
Anyway, she tot i was stupid enough not to understand the meaning of silent mode and emphasized on that word twice... Heheh, this really made my day coz this morning, she really made me wanna smacked her head on something she asked me to do.

Sleeping Ritual III - Popo's house
Usually, every Wednesday or anytime that requires us to stay overnight at Mum's place. Both of us will sleep in Ah Bond's room.
As usual, Ms Claire will be up to her usual stunts for sleeping. Last nite, she demanded that I open the door (closed coz sleeping in air-conditioned room). Then i opened the door, the moment she saw all was DARK outside the room. She immediately closed the door!
Then, she took her cloth diaper and demanded that I put it on for Elmo. She was chuckling with glee whenever she saw Elmo putting on the diaper! Anyway, she finds it hilarious when i put it on her beloved cat too!
After i switched off the lights to sleep, she stood on my mattress and shouted the below statements:
1. "安,起来!" => The statement, i called PK to wake up every morning!
2. "阿欣!" => In Cantonese, that's my name that Mum called me
3. "妈妈,骂骂" => In Cantonese, the statement I used on her when she refused to sleep!
I couldn't contain my laughter when i heard her shouting that. She also laughed with me, in the end I "threatened" to smell her nose if she refused to sleep (Dunno y her left nostril smell and I cant see any stuff in it but her nose seemed to be blocked.) She doesn't like me to do this and went back to her sleeping position.
Anyway, I fell asleep before she does and when i woke up later, she was in the "大" sleeping position already and threatening to fall onto my mattress. I shifted her back, covered her with a blanket and went back to my sleep.

"koo chi, koo chi ah, Elmo"
Last nite, Ms Piggy & me were staying over at Bedok as Mum is away in KL for her vacation and I dun want Claire to have disturbed sleep if I woke her up early in the morning to bring her to Bedok from Redhill
So, both of us were in the bedroom. Piglet disturbed me while I was reading my magazine so I told her off and to play with the many soft toys in the bedroom... (Ya, felt like a bad mummy when i told her to scoot off...)
I saw her carrying Elmo (my bro's fave!!!) and she went to get a piece of her handkerchief (all folded up) from her wardrobe (those storage space at the bed's headboard). She unfolded the handkerchief, slowly laid it down on the mattress. Then, she put Elmo onto it!
The next classic line is, "Elmo ah... Guai guai ah... Koo chi, koo chi ah Elmo!" I can't help but smile. I observed her even further. She was patting Elmo and baby talking to Elmo!!!! It was so funny!!! (unfortunate that i din capture on video) Then, she saw me observing her and waited for my reaction. I did nothing but smile at her.
She went to her wardrobe and got a piece of cloth diaper. I looked at her and asked her, "U wanna put the diaper on Elmo?" She answered me yes and was so excited to see me folding the cloth diaper & putting it on Elmo. She carried Elmo and played with it... But the diaper came off and she wants me to put it on for Elmo again... Then, i asked her, "Elmo pee pee in the diaper so needs to change har?" She said, "Yes, Mama helped to change."
I put the diaper for Elmo and passed it to her. She carried it and patted it, the next moment, she put Elmo on her shoulder and BURPED Elmo! The whole thing was just so funny! She was actually trying to imitate what we adults did to Kendrick (my 1 mth old nephew).....
My colleague commented that perhaps Claire needs a younger sibling now coz of her actions!

Sleeping Ritual - Part II
After using Ah Fry's recommendation on Ms Claire with a little adaption.... I officially pronounced that Claire still needs her Mama (me, yes super proud of me) to accompany her to sleep!
Currently, Claire & I are sleeping together coz PK kena flu and we self quarantined ourselves away from him. COme to think of it, i should demand for a massage from him coz my bones are stiff from sleeping on the floor!
As usual, Ms Claire will do a lot of stunts before she is willing to sleep (I stopped barking liao, i just issued a statement & followed by "ignorance is bliss" tactic) Just today, I told her that if she refused to sleep, i will get out of the room. She went back to her sleeping position but for a while. I just got out of the bed and went to sleep on the floor.
She immediately, "Mama" and went to join me too. She squeezed a small space besides me but she STILL REFUSED to SLEEP! In the end, i ordered her to sleep on her bed. She climbed back onto her bed and she threw everything on the bed down to my mattress. I CONTINUED TO IGNORE HER!!!
Guess what, she came down and tried to sleep besides me. I IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE her. In the end, she climbed back to her bed and fell asleep. She threw everything down except for 1 pillow!
I m surprised at myself for not BARKING and able to IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE! As for Ms Claire, I m quite surprised that she understands my instructions well and accepted that the bed is her permanent place for sleeping.

No man is an island
No man is an island => This statement is first heard from my Sec Sch VP.
This week, the true colors of my dept colleagues came and it was quite nasty. I was feeling real demoralised.
THank god for my other dept colleagues, I received 2 lunch treats from them as they meant to cheer me up. (Very nice & kind of them)
Due to the nasty incidents, it was back to those days where its the old vs new colleagues in the dept except that now, I m the ONLY OLD one. Me, decided to speak when asked to be spoken, worked as required. I wont volunteer to help or what since noone appreciates it.
Quoting one ex-colleague, "Life is really about memories, good memories with friends and family. Work can always find another one." This i totally agree and is doing it now.

Bubble Fun!
Mum bought this for Claire in London for £5 and it costs SG$23 here. When I told Mum about it, Mum was like, "WHAT!!! Its like at least 35% more expensive in Singapore!!"
Claire & Grace (my HK cousin's gal) had fun playing with the set when my cousin & his family came to SG in early June. Both of them are chasing after the bubbles and Grace attempted to blow some with the help of her parents.
PK bought one huge bottle of the bubble solution from Toys R Us last Sunday. He intends to let Claire and her cousins played with it on this coming Saturday at the in laws place. My only concern is that the bubble set will be spoilt by Claire's cousins.
Anyway, I hope that the bubble set will still be intact for my Association's AGM at Ting's place. So that, Ah Fry, Me, Claire and Kay can all play... Dunno whether Ting & ST love it too... Dun worry, the set got 8 bubbles wand... Enough for each of us... We wont fight! :P
Ms Claire & her papa
I think Ms Claire is going thru a "REJECT PAPA" phrase.
She cried when Mum asked PK to dress her up. She wants Popo to put on her clothes for her.
She wants me to unbuckle her stroller straps when PK wants to do it. She pushes his hands away.
She protested when PK carried her to the bathroom for me to shower her. She only stopped protesting when she saw its me who is executing the task. Best part is she shouted for PK to carry her after I wrapped her in the towel. However, she cried when PK carried her!
PK's reaction => AWWW, why does my precious daughter REJECT ME?
Me, I just smile! :P

Dog barking = Me
Last nite was the worst for me.... I was literally barking at Claire to go to sleep.
She is TIRED but refused to sleep. Her tactics, begging for MILK which she already finished a bottle of 210ml (I learnt my lesson, I dun want to clean up her puke.), kept on "Mama" me, roll up and down the bed and best part, KICK ME!!!
So threats & stuff dun work... PK says he can hear me from the Master bedroom's toilet... Sheesh its like behind 2 closed doors and I also find myself very stupid to do that too! In the end, i chose the "Ignorance is bliss" tactic and Ms Claire falls asleep not long after that!
Today, I will try the note that Ah Fry advised me. Perhaps, it will be Claire crying tonight. :P

"Only Child" again
I m back to the "only child" status. Bond just left for Canberra today at 7.50pm. We will see him again in another 6 months.
Mum was telling him that when he comes back in Dec, Claire will be very smart at talking back to all of us.
Claire seems to know that its her Uncle's special day as she refused to go back to sleep this morning and she wants ah bond to carry her before he boards the plane.
Bro, take care in the foreign land! :)

Strange things happening to me....
As ah fry was asking me what strange things happening to me via Facebook... I can't exactly pinpoint but this is what I feel is strange.
Alot of job agents had called me up and I just ignored them. I find that talking to some of them are a waste of my time & money (mobile phone charges). Its not that I dun wanna get out of my current job but somehow the opportunities offered by them seemed so wrong.
Yesterday, Ms Claire merlioned on me and I m all alone with her at home as PK went to Bt Panjang to pick up the car from my in laws. The mess that she created is really horrible instead of my usual screaming self. I just carried her out of the room and cleaned her up before clearing up the mess. I was calm during the whole time cleaning her & clearing the mess. This is one of the strange thing that happened to me.
Also, my horrible spendthrift habit seems to be in control. As much as I love to browsing online shopping sites and window shopping, I just browsed and dun buy unless its ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! But strangely, I spent $$ in another way. I just spent some $$ for my cousin's son first month celebration and going to give an angbao to my Auntie (our nanny). Not to mention giving ah bond restaurant treats. I guess this type of spending can be considered as one off and not really anyhow spend bah.
That's why i feel that these strange things happening to me is a way of God's test on me.

Morning breakfast
I had breakfast with PK this morning at Macdonalds. It has been a long time since we ever had couple time to ourselves.
Even though, the time spent is short but it is a great feeling. Plus I really feel like taking leave to spend the day with him but reality is reality. I need to work and he needs to run his errands like sending our DVD player for repair & collecting his repaired printer.
He is so funny when i told him about my intention to get an MC but i stopped as I had a lunch appointment with an ex-colleague. He told me to take it on this coming Friday coz he is off too and we could go catch a movie together.
I m seriously looking forward to the day when i can catch a movie with him alone.

Harrods Plastic Bag
Harrods Departmental Store is a must go in London for hard core shoppers.
I felt like a swa gu when I first went into the store. Its the first time I seen such a HUGE Department Store selling ALL BRANDS OF LUXURY GOODS! Not to mention, the vast variety of BRANDED goods, from bags to apparels to accessories...
They even have a pet shop section selling High Pedigree Breed of Dogs!!! The security guard are very strict. They dun allow us to wear our backpacks on our backs and we have to carry it in our hands. The reason for this is to prevent bags bumping into shoppers.
Only Mothers who are pushing a strollers can be allowed to have the backpacks on the back. Plus, they dun allow strollers on the escalator. There is a pole stuck at the escalator to prevent the strollers from heading onto the escalator.
So you can imagine how amazed I am by this store. The things that I bought from Harrods, Coffee, Honey and 2 Harrods Plastic Bags!
Hehe, on the plastic bags.... Singapore does sell them but the variety is limited. In London store, there are so many designs for you to choose till you just wanna buy everything! I saw a fellow tourist with print outs of the Harrods Plastic bags in his hands, attempting to find those designs as per the print outs and i think he has at least 6 pieces of paper in his hands.
So, you can imagine how popular those plastic bags are! Hehe, for me the 2 bags i bought cost me around SG$70. PK was like sheesh... do u hv to buy such an expensive PLASTIC BAG? Anyway, the $$ is worth it as I used them almost every day!
Okie pix of my PLASTIC BAGS!
IMF
I have been asked by many whether am i pregnant with a second one.
My typical response will be, "You mean I m FAT? Opps, that means i must lose weight!"
Today, this colleague of mine told me that I should say IMF. I asked him what it means, he says International Monetary Funds. I was like ??? Then it came, "IMF = I M FAT!"

I dun like people calling me ATAS.....
ATAS => Its a Malay word meaning high class and we used it interchangably for expensive or upclass taste.
I got very irritated if people used this word excessively on me. I know my tastes are expensive and the stuff I bought or used are not cheap. I admit I LOVE the FINER THINGS in life.
My shoes are expensive but they re not Jimmy Choos or Manolo Blahniks. I dun buy Charles & Keith shoes like most Singaporean ladies as they dun have suitable cutting, style and sizes for my BIG SIZE 8.5 - 9 FEET! Add insult to my feet size, I am flat footed and not to mention, I m born with bunions!!!!!!! Can you imagine how tough it is for me to find a suitable pair of shoes?
I bought WMF pots & Henckels knives (Made in Europe) as they re a long term household investment. Not to mention, my Herman Miller chair to prevent backaches.
Just that day, my cousin in law commented that Claire won't use Drypers disposable diapers coz her MUM me has ATAS TASTE!!! I was like WTF, Claire has sensitive skin that's y i can't let her wear any brand of disposable diapers except for Pampers Premium or Huggies Ultra.
Bloody hell... Kettle calling pot black... They also ATAS taste mah, choice of home => EC, got car, played golf.... All these are ATAS!!!
Okie, enough of lamenting! (Hehe, for me to dispel my negativity)
Back to work!

Ms Piggy's sleeping ritual
Ever since, we "kicked" Ms Piggy to her own room, this has became her night time ritual.
We gave her a shower or towel wiped her, followed by dressing her in Pyjamas and she will request for milk either in a demanding tone or faking cries for it!
After she finished her milk, she will "complain" about us switching off the lights and both of us will climb up onto the day bed to sleep. She still needs either one of us to accompany her to sleep (most of the time, its me if PK accompanies her, she will scream for me.) Then, she will do a lot of funny things like singing, roll up and down, flying kick stunts (usually i kena)... And best part is, she will wait for me to issue her this statement, "U better go to sleep unless you wanna kena a whacking from me."
Once this statement is issued, she will immediately go hug her bolster and go into her sleeping position. She will request for me to scratch her neck or head. Once she fell asleep (usually both of us fell asleep togther), I will put her down on to the floor mattress coz quite a few times, she fell off from the bed and hit herself on the head.
This morning, I went to wake her up to send her to Mum's place. She was sleeping on the day bed. I was like, "Wow"! Usually, she will cry if she sees noone in the room with her, somehow she managed to climb up to the bed and sleep. I m amazed and I realised she inherited this trait of mine, I will sleep on the floor in the middle of the night if its too hot or get up onto the bed from the floor to sleep if its too cold......
Now i hoped she will be able to sleep on the day bed soon without us putting her onto the floor to sleep.

Humpty Dumpty
Last nite, Claire was singing the Humpty Dumpty song and I tried to teach her the rhyme. I also told her that Humpty Dumpty is an egg, that's y all the king's men & horses can't save him. I doubt Claire will understand this part.
Anyway, I was thinking how this nursery rhyme was derived. Is it derived in Europe where the Royals' children put an egg on the wall and it dropped on the wall? Coz i guess only them will have the power to summon the king's men & horses.
Then it occurred to me about the sabo games during birthdays in my school days. It was a trend to throw flour and eggs at the birthday boy or girl to celebrate their birthday. The throwers are the happy ones but the poor birthday boy or girl will have a hard time cleaning up.
I recalled that in my JC days, our principal, Sister M punished a group of students by making them clean the whole canteen and field for a week for doing the throw flour & eggs birthday stunt. Back then, alot of schoolmates were talking about how ANAL Sister M was for punishing them for such a small thing.
Sister M bought up this issue during assemble and lectured us on wasting food. Now, I totally agreed with Sister M for punishing my school mates.
Flour & eggs are food and by doing the birthday stunt, they are wasting food. In my parents' generation, eggs are like a luxury food item which you only get to eat during birthdays or celebrations. Furthermore, there are so many people in Africa dying of famine. We the fortunate ones, why should we waste precious food like that?
Come to think of it, I was quite stupid to let my classmates celebrate my birthday with this too. I guess back then, i just want to be accepted as part of the crowd. Given my personality, I m sure I will flare up big time for them doing this to me.

Of pee² & potty
We had been toilet training Ms Piggy and these days, she will be diaper free.
Usually, we will look out for her signs of wanting to poo or pee and quickly put her on the potty to do her biz. Occassionally, there will be mishaps and we will "lecture" her for not telling us that she wanna poo or pee...
Yesterday, Mum scolded her for not peeing on the potty and Mum instructed her to tell us. Guess what, after a while, Claire shouted,"Tong tong" Mum was like ??? Then Mum immediately put her on the potty and she peed.
Later in the day, she was sitting on Ah bond's lap (both of them are surfing net together). I guess Ah bond dun understand her words, as quoting ah bond's words,"Suddenly i feel a gush of warm water on my lap." Claire peed on him and ah bond told us that his underwear is soaked.. I guess she must be enduring her pee for very long.
Conclusion, it takes a Rocket Scientist to figure out what Ms Piggy is saying when it comes to her big and small business.

Like Mother, Like Daughter, Like Grandmother???
This morning, Ms Piggy woke up coz her diaper leaked (even though she is wearing XL size Pampers but still leaks...) So i changed her into a pair of shorts (long pants but become shorts now) and a T-shirt.
As she refused to be "conned" back to sleep. We got out of the room and went to the kitchen. I put a cup of water for her to drink and i went to do my daily morning routine. After I finished up my routine, I fed Ms Piggy her water as she refused to drink.
While i was feeding her, Mum came back from the wet market and went to the kitchen. Then Ms Claire went to Mum and attempted to take off her pants. I put it back on for her but I noticed she made attempts and expressed her discomfort with the pants.
I think the pants too tight for her. So I just took it off for her...
She heaved a sigh of relief and Mum says to her, "Oh, u prefer to be shame shame without your pants har? Aiyah, y u so yim chim (Canto for fussy) like your Mum? Can't tahan any discomfort...."
Mum's best words, "But if you yim chim like ur Mum means your Mum takes after me, ie you yim chim like Popo!" I laughed like nobody's biz when Mum made that statement.

Smart people at work????
Case #1
I was LAMENTING big time a few days ago on having to download and test our company test on my OWN LAPTOP! I have no intention to test but with the anal boss' insistence and prevent unnecessary trouble with her, I LL got to do it.
When i emailed the IT manager on the error msg i got while testing. His reply was, "It s not really an error msg but it occurred as we DUN have enough licenses for you people to WORK FROM HOME!!!" I was like, "WTF!!! Dun even have the resources and asked us to test!" I sacrificed my beauty sleep just to test all the bloody applications and such response... Sheesh, waste of time!
Case #2
Just received an email from HR on the appropriate dressing attire for casual Friday, below is an excerpt of the email:
Acceptable
-----------------
- jeans (without holes/frays)
- denim skirts (without holes/frays)
- casual slacks (i.e. Khakis, Dockers etc.)
- full-length tights
- knee or 3/4 length pants
- t-shirts with collars/Polo shirts
- soccer jerseys (but must have collars)
- covered footwear, e.g. moccasins
Not Acceptable
-----------------------
- shorts of any kind
- ultra mini shirt => Bra top????
- tube tops (unless covered with a coatie or jacket)
- halter-tops (unless covered with a coatie or jacket)
- shirts with inappropriate slogans or captions
- muscle shirts and crop tops
- exercise/gym attire => No track shoes since its gym attire?? Contradicts the above point of wearing covered footwear???
- flip-flops/slippers
- no open sandals (for men) => Sandals are already open toed!!!!
When we saw this email, it served as a stress relief to all of us. The above comments are our conclusion... There is even more but I can't exactly remember it!!!!
That goes to show how smart some people are at work!

Ms Claire => What u want?
Yesterday, PK was washing dishes in the kitchen while I was wiping the dishes dry to put them into the cabinets.
Ms Claire came into the kitchen with her bolster and bubble container. I told her to put her bolster back to her room.
She went out of the kitchen and came back with the bolster. I reminded her to put the bolster back to her room again. (This went on for at least thrice)
The last round, she peeked her into the kitchen (bolster in her arms) and asked me in Cantonese, "Mama, what you wan me to do?" I replied her and moments later, there was no bolster in her arms.
PK finds it funny especially the way she asked me what I wan her to do. I was quite surprised by her words and how she phrased it even though its not a proper sentence or something that we can comprehend properly.
Anyway, Ms Claire does understand the part about no bolster in the kitchen but not the part on putting it back to her room coz I found it lying just outside the kitchen door.

Celebrations Saga
Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays or any forms of celebrations will have issues especially if you re holding a major one or to do with customs.
Moi cousin is celebrating her son's 1sth mth birth this coming Saturday. But the celebration customs and stuff had lead to a saga. Basically, she asked the elders for advice on what to prepare and stuff... Oh and the invitation list is the main thing that caused the most outrage!
When the elders (IE my Mum) gave their opinions and comments, they were faced with a major backlash from her. This cousin of mine usually talks without thinking and the tone she used when she talks is ATTITUDE big time.
So it ended up Sis, Bond & me got involved in the whole saga.
Cousin asked me how Claire's first month celebration was done. It ended up me almost puking blood via MSN coz she quoted that HK dun hv such practices.... I was like... "Hello, this is Singapore!!! Cannot use their practices to apply on Singapore..." I volunteered to help Cousin but her lousy attitude is, "U can help me meh? I dun think so, u still got Ms Piggy to settle." I was like, WTF... people here offer their help will sure know how to settle their kids lah... Anyway, seeing her attitude like that, better not to help.....
Sis in London, 8 hours timezone difference helped to settle the dilemma between cousin & Mum via MSN over the celebration. Cousin insisted that Mum wants this and that but Mum is pissed off with her attitude.
Ah bond (back in Sg for 2 weeks plus), the most doted by Cousin & her hubby is the official coolie for the occassion. Hehe, so only my bro is helping out...
Looking at this saga thing, my conclusion... such celebration is usually to satisfy the elders. Just do what the elders want as long as the elders are not asking for the sky & moon. Also, my cousin also double standards, she said she dun want to have the hassle of a major celebration... But why are u inviting your friends & colleagues to celebrate? As far as i know, there is around 40-60 plus friends & colleagues invited....
And her reason for that? Coz they have been invited to countless such celebrations... Piang, PK & I also invited to countless such celebrations but we choose to do it for the relatives.... I guess at the end of the day, it boils down to how u do it....
Anyway, I should bring Ms Piggy there earlier to swim and go for the celebration later.

Updates
This week has been a busy one for myself.
Work => Bz coz of company structure reorganisation, my dept ended up doing alot of extra & sometimes unnecessary work. All thanks to the "efficient" directions from our head office in Hamburg. With this change, alot of human dramas unfold and I dunno how long I can endure such shit.
I want to move out but I m reluctant (see the dilemma in me) as I m too comfortable in the current position. At the same time, I m doing things to sabotage myself... Perhaps i should just trust my gut feeling and resigned without a job first.. before finding another one. Simple reason, my co requires 2 months notice for resignation.
Family => Ms Piggy has a strong personality since the day she is born. This strong trait of her is getting more and more obvious as she grows. It is physically demanding on the unfit me to chase after her and mentally very tiring to discipline her. She is lovable and adorable if she doesnt throw tantrums or unwell.
In the past few weeks, Ms Piggy has hurt herself in play or by the clumsy parents. Her response? She just cried for a while but resume back to her mischievous self. Just on Monday, Mum told me that Claire had a bad fall while she was cooking dinner. She found Claire all fours sprawling over her little chair. Claire was wailing as she was in pain but Mum can't really find the injured area.
Later, Mum discovered the injured area. It was on her inner thighs, a big angry red bruise plus the skin was being scrapped. Ms Piggy is brave, she did not cry when PK applied zambuk on it. She only winced in pain!
Her clumsy parents accidentally caused her to fall and srape her knees. This in turn teaches Piglet something, whenever she fell down. The first she did when she got up from the fall is to look at her knees.
Relationship => With PK, things are still the same but i sort of neglected him this week due to work and my obessession with watching this Taiwan drama serial, 败犬女王. I guess now he can understand my frustrations with him whenever he bo chap me and just watched his Japanese animation. And this week, I m proud of him for helping me to settle Claire while I worked OT. But Claire (the fusspot) dislikes PK to bath her or settle her down to sleep. (I guess PK's way of bathing her & putting her to bed might make her uncomfortable....)
Personal => Still have yet to really read the scriptures that my dear fren has given to me. This scripture is to calm me down and enable to have a good night sleep. Also, i have been asking myself loads of questions and I choose to ignore them in the sense that, its a waste of time & efforts to find answers to those, "What if" questions. So all in all, life goes on and i should not think too much... Think too much = asking for trouble at times. :)

Smelly brother!!
Smelly brother is back in SG!!!!
This bro of mine, told my Mum that he will be back in Dec. He conned Mum that his friend will be passing her some vitamins and honey.
Mum insisted on picking the items from his friend at the airport and he told her no need coz the friend's parents will be picking him up at the airport and dropping off Mum's stuff at home.
So the friend is my Smelly brother!!! Hehe, Mum is so happy to have her youngest & only son back home... While Ms Piggy is happy to see her Uncle back!! Mum told me that Ms Piggy cried very hard when she saw bro...Perhaps she missed him too much bah!

Ms Claire's new addiction
Even since I got her this DVD - A Collection of Children's song.
She is TOTALLY HOOKED ONTO IT!
She wants us to play this DVD continously and she will clap her hands, sway her butt to the music. My concern is too much TV!!!
But it serves as a good distraction to her if we need to get things done. Now, i wonder when will she get sick of the DVD.
