Its the 2nd week of work in my new co.....
Fears start to creep in as my colleagues had resigned and will be leaving at the end of the month. Those colleagues that had resigned, they have been working in the co for more than 5 years! I called them the "Pillars" of the dept.... Somehow, I just dun feel good about the whole thing!
I prayed that everything will work out fine for me! Mum just came back from Bangkok, she told us kids about her swollen feet problem... I also dun feel good about it.... I hoped that nothing is wrong with my Mother's health.... Sometimes, I find myself not a good daughter... Din understand my Mum enough or have the time to accompany her to see the doctor...... :(

Reflections....
Went to my cousin's Civil Solemnisation ceremony last Saturday....
Suddenly, it dawned onto me that I had forgotten what my vows are! Dear husband could remember and he told me that his vows and ours are different... PErhaps, its the fact that different wedding solemnisers chose different vows? The most important thing is to sign on the dotted line..... :)
Come to think of it, there are many couples tying the knots this year! I had received quite a bit of invitations to wedding banquets... That sparked this fear inside my head.... Will I have to invite them to my wedding banquet? Will they turn up... etc etc.... Call me paranoid!
Anyway, being married comes with a lot of unexpected responsibilites... Even though dear husband dun admit it, he actually shouldered most of the responsibilites than me! As much as he could give me grief at times, I m really counting my blessings and trying my best not to take him for granted!

New job, new start!
Today is the 1st day of my new job....
Though I had been thru so many jobs... But, it is still nerve whacking on the first day! Coz u dunno how your colleagues are going to be, how is the seating arrangement etcc.... All those doubts!
Kinda impressed with the company but its their silence that is kinda intolerable!
Will keep my fingers crossed for this new job! Wish me luck! :)

Back from Hong Kong Shopping Trip!
How time flies! Its going to be end of May and Welcome June!
I was away in HK with husband and Mummy dearest! The trip 's aim was to shop for my bridal stuff... It ended up in a shopping spree for my husband instead! He bought more stuff than me!
Very grateful to Mummy dearest! She really loves me alot! Really wonder how can I repay her in terms of love... especially for a dumbbell like me... Who always sprout the wrong things at the wrong time!
Mummy dearest bought a traditional wedding Chinese dress for me - "Kua".. The lady who sold the Kua to me, told us that the bride can only wear the skirt on the actual day! Sheesh, i need the Kua to take my pre-wedding pictures! Pictures of the fabulous "Kua" will be posted later....
Dear husband also bought alot of wedding stuff! His suit, leather shoes etcc..... Not to sound like a show off.... I managed to get a 0.52 carat diamong engagement ring from him... Heee.... That's my biggest gift!
Back to reality, there are more things to settle as the time approaching the wedding is nearer! Things like my house renovation, wedding nitty gitty stuff like dowry etc.... All these have to be fine tuned... I guess there are more challenges ahead!

Shoes! Shoes!

I had collected my Bridal Shoes finally! Isn't it pretty and sexy? Hehe... U might ask me how can a pair of covered toes shoes be sexy! Well, check my feet out when I wear it at my wedding!
These pair of shoes are a gift from dear fiance! Really thankful for him during this period of time! Unemployment and wedding preparation, such an untimely thing to happen! :)
Anyway, I will be going for a break to HK in mid May after my Civil Solemnisation. So, dear friends, please do not be worried for me! I have gone through so many things already during the past 6 months. I will pick myself up and I am very sure that I will find a better job and things will turn out for the best in these upcoming months!
My Grand Plan won't be called a GRAND one without all these hitches and hiccups occuring!
Have a good week ahead to my dear friends!

Unexpected!
It has been a long time since I had updated my blog...
So many things had happened during this period of time from my last update.
Starting with the awful news, I was being asked to resign voluntary. Yesterday was my last day at work after the Meeting with HR and the Witch. The Witch really deserved her nickname, and she s an Evil one too.... As much as I had prepared for myself for this to happen, it still chills me to the bone. Nevertheless, I m happy that I had been released from the abyss of misery! I was so miserable in the company, in fact, I m just waiting for the Witch to make the first move! In this battle with the Witch, I came out to be a big winner! I always believed what goes round, comes around.... To those idiots and nincompoop who had their share in my voluntary resignation, I am the WINNER! :)
I am thankful and grateful to my Fiance, my family and my friends that had given me all the support and courage for this experience. So now, I will be concentrating on the preparation for my Civil Solemnisation Ceremony on 29th April 2006! Yup, I m getting those pre-wedding jitters!
For this ceremony, we re holding it at Masonic Club. The solemnisation will be held at the garden and followed by lunch at the Restaurant. Masonic Club is a beautiful, colonial building. For those who knew me, I m a sucker for old things! We had sent out the invitation cards to our friends. The invitation cards are designed by my younger Sister who has an artistic streak and a creative hand! Thanks little Sis! *Hugs*
So now, with my spare time (another 1 week), I will try to make a ring pillow! :)
