Had lunch today with my best friend....
She told me about her friend's wedding... And i learnt a lesson, "It's my wedding and if ppl screwed it up. U can fuck them up upside down and inside out!"
Upon listening to her, i called my hubby and told him that if possible keep his interfering BIL from helping out at the wedding to the min and better still, no help is required from him!
Pirate King understands where i m coming from! And now, i m worried about him. He hurt his tooth yesterday and he went to the dentist today. He told me that he need to extract a tooth and all will be done after our wedding..... My silly hubby!

% Completed?
If anyone will to ask me, how many % of your home is completed?
I wont know how to answer... My home is fully renovated, with most of the furniture & electrical appliances in... But it is still a mess.... Especially the kitchen & storeroom!
Pirate King and I took leave yesterday.... Our aim is to clean up our home as much as possible and to wait for the delivery of the furniture. Guess what, our furniture arrived but the furniture store forgotten abt our shelves inside the shoe cabinet... Thus, we got to wait for it another day...
I m trying to get Pirate King to throw away his chair. That chair of his is so old and full of unseen dirt. Besides, we have a Herman Miller Aeron Chair... (That's my pride & joy!) I bought this designer chair! Yup, i will show it off! But not to my Mum coz i will be reprimanded for spending too much on a chair! :P
In fact, i m amazed by the amount of rubbish or stuff that both of us have! I m thankful to my Mama for training me to throw away or give away things that i dun need.

Mum's Quest to Pahang....
Mum, Fat Bond & HK Auntie took the 9.30am bus yesterday to KL.
Mum's quest is to distribute the wedding cakes & invitation cards to her side of family and friends in KL & Pahang. She is assisted by my bro, Fat Bond and her elder sis, HK Auntie.
When i saw Mum's luggauge yesterday morn... I was totally stunned... So much things for the 3 of them... Mum commented that i was lucky not to embark on this trip with them. Inside my heart, i was thinking i did volunteer to go with you all... But u refused to accomadate to my schedule... Thus, i din go!
Mum is excited and at the same time, reluctant to see me get married and left her coop. In my wedding preparations, my family is the one who helped me out the most. Pirate King's family only talked even though they did provide the necessary financial backing but money is not everything!

Hiccups?
Just some hiccups.....
Realised that the photographer we had engaged for my wedding is drafted for reservist... (Protecting our nation!) Plus, my wedding date is a super hot date and it is just one month away... Hehhe... Chances of finding a good photographer is SLIM!
Never mind, my invitation cards also ran into some problem... My Dad insisted on hotstamping for the invitation cards... It ended up with the cards being delayed in printing! The best part is there is no map of directions to the restaurant printed on it... It ended up Pirate King and me making 2 trips separately, one to collect the cards while the another to collect the map for directions....
Anyway, just pray that everything will be alright for my big day!

Last Sat, 9 Dec 06 was the day of dowry exchange... Everything went on smoothly...
Just that i cant eat the stuff that Pirate King's side has given to my family as dowry.... :(
Went to offer the prayers to my late Grandparents... As usual, Dad cant remember where exactly is my grandparents' tablet is located... And we spent a bit of time locating it... And as usual again, i located their tablet!
After that, we went back home and wait for Pirate King to drive us to Dad's side of the relatives to distribute the cakes and invitation cards. Most of Dad's relatives are located in the north and our first stop is at 二伯娘 s place. Thanks to Dad... We made a wrong turning and took another 10 mins to locate her place. Dad still has the cheek to insist that he s not at fault for the wrong address given.
The moment, we arrived at her place, Mum called her: "二少奶奶!" I almost die of internal laughing! As usual, this Auntie of mine is what we called, "Big Canon Queen" boasting of her children aka my cousins etc.... This Auntie gave me super bad impression... Even after so many years, its still the same!
Mum told me that she called her 二少奶奶 coz she was instructed to call her that. In this times, in these days, its weird to hear such a phrase!
Anyway, we distributed all the cakes & invitation cards to Dad's side of relatives. Mum treated all of us to dinner at Chef Chan restaurant. This restaurant has a nice ambience but their prices are expensive. I will say their food is so so except for their Signature Chicken & Beef dishes!
